Made from selected Barolo (Nebbiolo) pomace. Aged for at least 60 months in precious French medium-toasted 225-litre oak barrels used to make Barolo from the Massolino Winery.

Deep amber with dark golden hues. Generous, elegant, seductive, and clean nose. Bouquet of vanilla, orange peel, and honey. Intense with toasted notes of dried fruit. Floral and fruity. Exceptionally smooth, velvety, well-rounded and balanced, harmonious, fully confirming the ripe red fruit, floral, fruity, spicy, vanilla, and toasted hints experienced on the nose.

  • About The Producer

In the small Trentino town of Mezzolombardo, the de Vardas - noblemen since 1678 - were prominent vineyard owners and grappa producers. At the beginning of the 19th century, Michele Dolzan started the art of distillation. The Dolzans are heirs to a long family tradition of wine-growing and winemaking experience that has been handed down from one generation to the next.
