40% Merlot, 30% Refosco, 30% Schioppettino. Matures in stainless steel tanks and barrels for around 8 months. Aged further in the bottle for a few months before sale.
Deep ruby red colour. Well-rounded, robust fragrance, with notes reminiscent of black cherry and raspberry. Full-bodied flavour, which improves significantly as the wine ages, acquiring pleasant, peppery overtones, structured, sapid and fruity.
Perfect paired with a wide range of dishes, particularly cured, roasted and grilled meats.
