- About The Producer
The Il Conventino Estate extends for twenty hectares in the heart of the vine-growing area of Montepulciano, where the union between history and wine is deep-rooted. Traces of this link bring us back to the Etruscans and are part of the history of this marvellous land.
The production area is situated on the hillside between Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia, from 250 to 580 metres above sea level. These particular climatic and geological characteristics produce exceptional quality wines.
The Il Conventino Estate was one of the first producers in the area to obtain high-quality certified organic grapes. Strict pruning, good vineyard exposure, an ideal microclimate, the choice of harvesting time and careful grape selections have produced scented, rounded and well-balanced Nobile di Montepulciano wines.
