100% Cabernet Franc. Matures in stainless steel tanks and used barrels for approx. 8 months. Aged further in the bottle for several months before sale.
In the Friuli region this noble French grape variety has found its ideal microclimate in which to best express its characteristic features. Its ruby red to purplish colour and grassy aromas render it quite unique. As the wine ages, its characteristic fruity and spicy tones – green pepper and nutmeg come to the fore. Austere, assertive body, with pleasing tannins.
Perfect with grilled meat, roasts, flavourful dishes and mature cheeses, which exalt its full, powerful flavour.
