- About The Producer
The Armosa Estate is located in Scicli in the south-east of Sicily. It was founded by Michele Molgg in 2002 with the intent to restore wine cultivation in this highly suited land. The vineyards are located in two different terroirs: the marine, in close proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and the hills, near Irmino Valley.
Armosa’s mission is to enhance the reputation of Nero d’Avola, Sicily’s premium indigenous grape and to produce artisanal, organic, vegan-friendly wines with a distinct personality and character.
Human invention on wine has been reduced to a minimum in order to preserve its integrity, following the philosophy that only time works on wine, not man.
