100% Vermentino from the Colli di Luni, Cinque Terre in Liguria. The grapes are harvested in the middle of September. They are fermented in stainless steel until January/February
It is dark lemon with slight greenish hues. Intense, persistent, sophisticated aroma of great elegance, with hints of hawthorn, grapefruit, lemon, rennet apple, white peach, and a pleasing undertone of acacia honey. Fresh and balanced on the palate. Continually evolving.
Pair with traditional Ligurian dishes such as pasta with pesto, fish, seafood, chicken, and vegetables. Wonderful as an aperitif.
This fresh, light-bodied wine is the perfect summer drink!

- About The Producer
The Lunae Bosoni winery was founded by Paolo Bosoni in 1966, The vineyards lie in the Colli di Luni, from the plain to the south of the river Magra, to the Apuan Alps in the province of La Spezia, the last corner of eastern Liguria, bordering Tuscany. The Alps provide protection from the cold northerly winds, while the Mediterranean Sea provides good ventilation and a remarkable temperature range, excellent for the quality and character of their wines.
Each wine is born out of a desire to express and rediscover the uniqueness of Ligurian native grapes such as Vermentino and lesser known Albarola, Vermentino Nero, Malvasia, Pollera Nera and Massareta.
Lunae uses natural fertilisers and harvesting takes place by hand. Their philosophy is to give voice to this most extraordinary territory.
