100% Primitivo grapes from the Salento area of Puglia. Part of the wine ages for 4-5 months in French oak barrels and part in stainless steel containers.
It's a lovely deep ruby red with purplish hues. Rich, intense bouquet of jam and fruit. This medium-bodied wine is juicy with notes of cherry, sweet spice, and balanced tannins.
Delicious paired with roasts, duck, and aged cheeses.

The Mocavero winery was founded in 1950 by Pietro Mocavero in the small town of Arnesano which is immersed in nature, through lush vineyards and olive groves in the Salento area of Puglia. Today, Francesco and Marco Mocavero work passionately alongside their father Pietro, in a perfect balance between respect for tradition and the use of the most advanced technology.
